Steve Alexander is considered the foremost George A. Custer historian and actor. Marla Matkin portrays Elizabeth Custer, the wife of General Custer, with amazing authenticity, beauty, and touching elegance. They are friends and special guests of Western Artist, Jerry Thomas, and will be modeling for a new paintings portraying Custer and Libbie's travels. They will be sharing a delightful, enlightening, and entertaining performance of Lt. Col. George A. Custer and Libbie's time in Western Kansas, along with celebrating the 140th Anniversary of the Little Bighorn Battle, and the 151st Anniversary of the Custers' wedding (February 9, 1865).
Featured in this post is the "Custer Week" unveiling presentation photo of "Toward The Valley". It is the first painting to celebrate the 140th Anniversary of the Battle of the Little Bighorn.
