Sunflower Summer is Coming!

El Quartelejo Museum and Jerry Thomas Gallery & Collection is proud to announce its participation in the 2024 Kansas Tourism Sunflower Summer program. From Fossils to the Frontier, the museum is a time travel experience enhanced with hands on activities and engaging displays.  Art and History tell a story in the Jerry Thomas Gallery and Collection with original works and rare artifacts by nationally acclaimed artist and historian, Jerry Thomas.

The Sunflower Summer Program is a benefit for Kansas families with school-aged children to encourage them to explore, and fall in love, with Kansas. The program is designed to give affordable access to tourism attractions across the state and support the Kansas tourism economy. Eligible Kansas families will download the Sunflower Summer App to claim tickets to participating venues. The 2024 Sunflower Summer season will run from May 25 – August 11.

Tuesday through Saturday

1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Closed on New Year's Day, Independence Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.
