The Scott County Arts Council will be holding their "open house" at the El Quartelejo Museum this Sunday afternoon, 11 November 2012. They will showcase local arts and crafts in the temporary gallery. At this time two of the cases have beautiful wood pieces by Howard King, and china painting by Elaine Allen. There will be artwork from middle and high school students, wood objects from Alan Thornburg, and some quilts on display. They'll be serving refreshments from 1:00 - 4:00 p.m. Both of our galleries and the gift shop will be open, of course! Please stop by!
