Membership Appreciation

The Scott County Historical Society is hosting our annual Membership Appreciation Day on Sunday, 14 October 2012, at 2:00 p.m.  The event will be held at the El Quartelejo Museum/Jerry Thomas Gallery and Collection.

The society is very excited to announce that the program for the 2012 meeting will be presented by Victoria Mudd, distinguished author and documentary film producer/director.  Ms. Mudd's offering is entitled Images of Indians:  From Reel to Real.  Later in the day, at 7:00 p.m., you are invited to return to the museum for a screening of the film Broken Rainbow.  This film was produced under the direction of Ms. Mudd in 1985.  She was awarded the Oscar for Best Documentary Feature in 1986.
